	This week's Report covers the time period from midnight Thursday
	morning, February 1, Universal Time (ie. GMT), to midnight 
	Wednesday night, February 7, Universal Time.  In local time, the 
	period of coverage is from 4 p.m., January 31 to 4 p.m., 
	February 7, Pacific Standard Time.  We detected and processed 
	431 earthquakes during the 7-day period covered.
		This was a very quiet week.  The total number of 
	quakes remained the same as last week, with only 25 events
	of M2.0 or larger and only one above M3.0.  That quake, a M3.8 
	near Barstow, occurred on Saturday night.   It was an aftershock
	of the Landers earthquake (June 28, 1992 Mw7.3).  We assume that it 
	was felt by people in Barstow, but nobody in the lab received 
	any reports to that effect.
		The table lists the quakes this week that were M2.0 or 
	larger in the central part of the coverage area.  Times are local 
	times; if you want Greenwich Mean Time, add 7 hrs to the Pacific 
	Daylight Time or 8 hrs to the Pacific Standard Time listed.
